Scottie Barnes, the Toronto Raptors’ shooting guard, has agreed to a lucrative five-year contract extension valued at up to $270 million.
This deal comes as Barnes continues to recover from a hand injury suffered in early March, which required surgery.
Despite all these challenges he continues to shine as a young NBA star.
This season, he made his first All-Star appearance and is averaging career-highs in points (19.9), rebounds (8.2), and assists (6.1).
Luxurious New Home in Downtown Toronto
Barnes purchased a penthouse in the new condo project “Reside on Richmond,” located at Bathurst and Richmond Streets in downtown Toronto.
Attracted to the vibrant area for its range of activities and lively atmosphere, Barnes’s decision to live in this 18-story development stems from his love for the neighborhood and his interest in real estate.
Active Involvement in Design and Marketing
Barnes’s involvement with Reside on Richmond goes beyond just being a resident; he is actively contributing to the project’s marketing and design.
Introduced to the developers through Patrick Marzouk, owner of Silent H restaurant, Barnes has collaborated with them to enhance the amenities, particularly the sports simulator room.
His practical input has shaped various aspects of the condo, including the gym and common areas, aiming to create a lifestyle where residents can socialize, relax, and maintain their fitness routines.
